Those Pobblebonk frogs look gorgeous @Smc

Especially since they're a burrowing frog.

I've never come across a burrowing frog before.

That reminds me that I once discovered a Motorbike frog, living in the waterwell of my large pot.

It was a tiny courtyard of a rented flat, with no lake or any water anywhere nearby.

So how it got into my pot waterwell remains a mystery....

@Faith-and-Hope, the lady who made this, Ruth Petersen, was one of our family's

favourite potters. Sadly she died last year. But we've got a few sweet little dessert bowls that our kids bought from her, and when they were younger, they used to enjoy pretending to give the frog a spoonful of dessert as they were eating.

@Adge, once when I'd disturbed a Pobblebonk while gardening, we watched while it burrowed back into the soil. They dig out the soil under and behind them with their back legs, dropping back into the hole until they're completely underground.

I'm trying to get my house alarm fixed today.

I had to cancel fortnightly MH lunch group - so I can wait for the technician.

They don't give a set time.

Yeah .... that’s annoying @Adge ...... but I bet the tech gets plenty of annoying happening in their day too ......

I know it’s not the same, but can you make a special-ish lunch for yourself at home to help take the edge off ?
