I'm off to see the Wound Care nurse this morning. 40Km round trip.

To have wound pump suction pad changed.

I've had strong pain & some fever.

She might help.

I won't have the staples out for another week yet.

One of my favourite bacon-y treats which I haven't had for a while- Latvian Piragi. Little scone sized bread rolls with the filling cooked in the middle. The filling sometimes has onion and a touch of carraway seed in it. Very yummy.

Hi @Former-Member I got rid of my wound pump (early), when I saw the wound care nurses this morning.

So I'm a bit free-er with my movement, not having to carry that around.

Still wearing the waist pressure band, which feels like a straight-jacket.

Maybe I can get the staples taken out by the end of the week, or early next week.

I can drive again now, although driving feels awkward.
