@Former-Member @Shaz51 @Appleblossom @Smc @Adge
Hi all. Have got weeds under control . Pulled them all by hand and put them in the bin . Have 4 new peach or nectarine seedlings pop up this season . On top of 4 that popped up last year . Also I've flattened out a small area and put some bits of buffalo grass runners with smalls roots on them . Had to start with small steps for a big project . Just boasting about the progress I've made really . It's looking decent out there . It's got potential. Just need to trust in what i see it becoming and keep up with routine maintenance . I have some regrets about decisions I've made but hopefully it all works out for the better in the long run . Still have lots of odd jobs to do out there also .

Bravo @eudemonism 🙌
Don't it feel good to achieve something in the garden 👍.
Think most of us have made gardening decisions we rue, I look at them as gardening lessons and hope they are not too expensive to rectify 😵.

Gardening lessons is a great approach @Former-Member
@eudemonism Sounds like you have a great spot to work with.
Often things change year to year and so what is needed changed. In a way its nice to know that gardens are never fixed and totally done.

Maybe you are putting too much in. I go for months of the year without doing a thing in the garden, though in Spring I put in huge and phsyical effort.
The lady next door was having a competition and the garden is super lovelyt but she was always changing things and rippings things out ... I try and let the chnges be natural ... but thats just me ... adapt your garden for your needs ..

@Appleblossom, I keep dreaming about the idea of getting our garden to the point where I could have occasional "open garden" days, maybe even just for friends and neighbours... but life precludes that happening at present.
Not so much to "show off" the garden, although it would have to be more presentable than it is now. More for the idea of "sharing" the garden.

Sounds lovely @Smc
MOst of my garden is out on the street and it is more about keeping respect for those that do not appreciate ...
Gardens are often unique places and worth sharing. One of my favourite places was a garden art gallery near the Yarra called Heide Park.
Call out @Faith-and-Hope it may be one you like.

@Appleblossom, I'm pretty sure I've been to Heide Park, many years ago, probably in connection with a ceramics exhibition. Am afraid I don't remember it very well, but well enough for the website pics to look vaguely familiar.... 🙂
