Re: Jude’s Jungle

Hey @Judi9877, I love the sound of an iPhone/social media detox 😊 It can feel a little uncomfy at first but once you get past that it leaves so much more room to explore the things that bring you joy, like knitting or crochet! I've been watching a tv series that has got me interested in film again so I've been meaning to look up a whole bunch of old movies to rewatch, and your post has inspired me to get into and away from my phone, so thank you!

Re: Jude’s Jungle

Hi @Judi9877

Sounds like things are improving for you which is great. Hopefully all your meds are worked out now and that they help you continue to get better.

Sometimes having that time off from our phones is a good thing. We all seem so attached to them. I wonder what we did before we had them!!

Glad you have got your knitting with you and that is keeping you occupied.

Take care xoxo

Hugs Hon.  Thinking of you.  Thanks for tagging me.  Love the blankets ❣️  I am crocheting some myself at the moment, but can’t post pics cos they would be identifiable ….. I will tell you that they are giant Granny squares, and colourful …

Re: Jude’s Jungle

Sending you lots of hugs my friend xx @Judi9877 ❤❤

Re: Jude’s Jungle

Glad to hear you are feeling better @Judi9877 🌼. The colours of your blanket are fantastic! I love the different textures.

Hope you had a restful evening, take care 🌸

Good morning @OscarJones @Shaz51 @Faith-and-Hope @Snowie @Former-Member @TAB @MDT @Oaktree @Appleblossom @BPDSurvivor @FloatingFeather @Former-Member @hanami @Former-Member @maddison @Daisydreamer @Paperdaisy and all others joining me in the jungle this early morning. Welcome!

I woke up at 6:45 and have decided to spend a bit of time catching g up

on things in forumland and to get a bit of crocheting done whilst listening to the Lee Kernaghan ‘Boy from the Bush’ audio ebook that I borrowed last night from the library and have started listening I g to whilst doing some knitting and crochet. It’s a new experience for me listening to an audiobook but I’m really glad I’ve given it a try as it’s different yet I’m actually enjoying the experience as it means I can crochet or knit and still listen at the same time. It certainly makes a change from

listening to music that’s for sure!

In terms of my mental state, my mood has picked up for the better which is a good thing and I’m feeling that this hospital stay has been worth it as the change in meds is slowly starting to fire up. The voices have decreased and I’m not suicidal anymore which are both positive things in that regard. I’m feeling good about being discharged on Tuesday as well and believe I will be better for this hospital stay. No more going back to hospital or PARCS for me for a while! I’m looking forward to going home and seeing Mitz and doing some cooking and sitting a test to see if I get I into the leisure course I want to do as well. I’m feeling more positive which is a good thing.

Time for me to go and chill before breakfast! Thanks for reading this early morning entry!

Judi9877☺️💐

Hey @Judi9877
I am pleased to hear where you're at and that it has improved.
Voices have decreased and you're not suicidal.
Both are great to hear.

You know you're always building me up on here my friend and I wanted to take a chance to say thanks for that. When things have been dark in my own life you've been here supporting me.
You are a valued forumite friend and I am glad to hear you're on the mend.

Keep on keeping on.

Re: Jude’s Jungle

Good morning @Judi9877

It’s so great to hear you’re doing better!

I love audiobooks. It’s great to put them on while doing chores or like you say, something fun like knitting!

Wishing you a wonderful day

Hanami ❤️

Re: Jude’s Jungle

Hi @Judi9877,

It's so lovely to read you sounding like on you are on the right track with your medication and feeling more positive about things. You've come a long way and you really are a fighter. You should be really proud of how far you have come!

I'm sure Mitz and your housemate are really looking forward to having you back home too.

Hope you have a lovely week ahead filled with lots of knitting, crocheting, cooking, music and audio books :).
Best wishes,
