@Razzlei remember those too, with the new icee cups you can buy from big w you can still make them yourself without them actually turning into an iceblock.

Re: Word for the Day - Comfort or Play

ORANGE is my favourite colour apart from green. I has an orange VW beetle from the 60s 20 years ago and called it Naartje.

Re: Word for the Day - Comfort or Play

orange -

okay - ever reach a point where you get stuck on an idea - I just did - but I don't believe in writers block so let's start with food

oranges

pumpkin

carrots

mandarins

cantaloupe

Jaffas

We can add to that list - I just did

I don't wear orange clothes - it really drains the little colour I have in my sallow skin - so I don't have orange things around my house either

But then I have lots of pencils and textas that must have orange in therm

And orange is on the "warm side" of the rainbow - giving life and strength to the planet and the carotene in food stuffs aid and protect our eyesight - good thing that

That's a good start @outlander - I will be looking forward to what other people add here

Looking at your post again - orange cups - almost frozen orange juice - great stuff that - refreshing - and orange sweets

Jaffas - of course Jaffas- how would we enjoy the movies without Jaffas

Orange was a very 1970s colour re clothing? Just looking around here cant see orange anywhere lol ok kitchen chairs parents had for 20plus years were orange vinyl lol . We used to get milk at school it was usually frozen or off.. went on a school trip stayed at another school and they had Orange 🍊 juice . Felt a bit special lol

Re: Word for the Day - Comfort or Play

my pop loves jaffas! he will eat them till the cows come home. i like them too but i can only have very small amounts of them so they are a treat for me sometimes when i take a trip to the lolly shop @Owlunar
i dont have alot of orange but i have a fluro light orange pj set but if im lazy i just wear them around for the day lol. have a tan skin that pretty much goes any colour so im lucky in that sense.

Re: Word for the Day - Comfort or Play

Not orange in colour but flavour - I used to get a chocolate ball when I was a kid in my Xmas stocking.  When you unwrapped it the ball was all in segments like an orange and tasted

of orange.  I haven’t seen them in years, but they were so nice 😋😋
