Hello @grouchyoldlady and welcome.

I've had a busy day. We picked up a new-secondhand washing machine off a friend today, which meant the trailer needed to be empty. It was full of straw Hubby picked up for me after a town event, nearly a month ago. So that meant I needed to empty out the compost I had in the old plastic rubbish bins that I use for garden storage. The compost ended up around some fruit trees, and now the straw should stay dry enough to be good bedding for the rabbits and guinea pigs. Yay!

And the next job will be wrangling out the old washing machine so we can put the new one in... which will mean sorting out the stuff that's accumulated around it since it broke down. Will be good not having to use a laundromat for the washing, except that means Hubby and I will have to find another excuse to go out for a cuppa.

excuses for a husband to buy take-out coffees, friends authorities ( my next door neighbor had a policeman take her out for coffee and cake and they sat in a cafe !!)

Are you a study girl too? I've just started a new course but want to begin a cert IV in July to get a better job than what I usually have which is wearing me down........ 

These courses are great fun, I just started Sociology Foundations......

For my  family reunion last year I did a family tree book for one line of the family

so now getting back into my biggest hobby again --  Genealogy, but going to do all the family  lines , mine and Mr shaz`s now

Oh Geneology @Shaz51 That takes a lot of patience, I think.

My Dad did a lot of family history research.

Unfortunately, most of his research went with him.

Yes @Adge, I have paper research everywhere and have not done some for a while

have it all in folders but I think it would totally confuse my families

I have soo many stories of my ancestors -- but to hear my mum and aunties and uncles try to resay them , they get the stories mixed up so some people think it is a waste of time
