they said that mum will need to do a couple of tests before anything else , will do them in june -- this month

I said ," does she need to do these tests , she did them when she was in hospital"

Sounds like it was a big day @Shaz51, glad that you have had some communication from the hospital and that your mum is doing well at home. Do you think she'll have to go back to the hospital soon?

yes she will @Ali11 , @Former-Member , with reaccuring bowel obstructions , it will keep on happening because of the scans tissues and adhensions in her bowel ,they will get blocked again

she has been home for a week so far , which is good BUT it could be next week or 2 weeks times before she has to go back

Your Mum seems very happy at home and it's tough she keeps getting bowel obstructions - I know these can be really dramatic when they happen - and it must be scary

Can they just treat your mum when she is having one of these and make her comfortable - it seems to me she really feels enough is enough about all of these procedures

This is such a hard time for her and for you

she is happy just doing this and you are right my second mum , she has had enough

Did you hear back in relation to what tests Mum may or may not need before seeing specialist again? --- they are stilling try to decide what to do

the physio lady came to visit yesterday and thinks mum might need a iron infusion
