Self care by growing a garden

Re: Self care by growing a garden

I've only used the dedicated hedgetrimmer (not attachment) ones @Former-Member

So I don't know about those attachments.

Re: Self care by growing a garden

I have big plans for our garden next week if the weather holds out.   We were going to get a start today but is has been wet.

Re: Self care by growing a garden

@Former-Memberwe have a petrol hedge trimmer

a small  battery hedge trimmer for me

and a pole chainsaw

Re: Self care by growing a garden

We have a buddleia which is now growing into the gutter @Shaz51 , I think it may have been a mini chain saw on a pole that the gardener had.

Are they easy enough to use and maintain?

I don't fancy using any implement on a ladder.

Re: Self care by growing a garden

I was looking at pole chainsaws also @Shaz51 @Former-Member but probably only used for 1 main job so decided I would just use a ladder. Already have a collection of underused chainsaws in the shed lol.

Re: Self care by growing a garden

t may have been a mini chain saw on a pole -- would of been @Former-Member and they are expensive

Re: Self care by growing a garden

yes that is the trouble @Determined

we also have a pole saw  which the saw part broke in the branch that it was cutting @Former-Member

Re: Self care by growing a garden

We have a hedge at front of our house @Shaz51 that I have been procrastinating on as I dont want to make a mess of it. Decided today I would use a string line so have been out to Bunnings this afternoon to get a string line and level. See how I go tomorrow or early next week 😬

Re: Self care by growing a garden

I have a battery hedge trimmer @Determined and when I did the hedge, it was very wavey Smiley LOL, mr shaz thought it was funny

the next day , he made it straight @Former-Member, because he could not stand seeing what it looked like

Re: Self care by growing a garden

Think I might just get the gardener in ... just don't want to offend Mr Darcy.

Getting hedge straight would probably not be one of my skills either @Shaz51 ... hope it goes well @Determined
