Got a little bit  of weeding done today ... found a chook nest with 13 eggs ... reckon there are some more hiding spots.

Re: Self care by growing a garden

We are currently missing a chook here also @Former-Member and I have wondered has found a spot somewhere in our jungle and clucky. I dont think the dog has eaten it.

Currently trying to work our the best location for a rainwater tank. And have also managed to dig the pump out to take it in for a service.

If not repairable I may need a new one .

Re: Self care by growing a garden

@Determined you have been busy 👍.

All our chooks present and accounted for Bro, the low number of eggs in their pen laying spots the problem.

Do you get charged for green waste where you are @Shaz51?  Here they charge then mulch it and sell it back to the public. Nothing like double dipping.

Re: Self care by growing a garden

Going around our garden this afternoon I think our 2 cycads ? Seem to be looking worse as time goes on after being shredded bu hail.

Hoping they bounce back Screenshot_20190101-194143_Gallery.jpg

Wondering if giving cutting off the lower fronds may help.

Thoughts anyone ?
