Re: Self care by growing a garden

"I wonder if I should start a new hobby when I run out of soil and there is only concrete around ..."

Sigh... dear girl @Appleblossom, that's what pots are for!

And then there's this lady, who leaves no flat space in her apartment unplanted...

Lovely @Shaz51 .

Helped a friend plant some spuds and peas today.

A few more of our veg seeds have germinated but otherwise fairly quiet in the garden here.

Re: Self care by growing a garden

Wow @Shaz51 Very nice.

They look a lot like Phalenopsis (Moth) Orchids.

They're my favourite - sadly they all died.

Re: Self care by growing a garden

One of the deciduous plants out the front has flowered - it is a lilac (light purple).  Finally a desirable plant, planted in an appropriate location 🙌.

Spud friend gave us 3 hyssop plants - apparently the bees love them.

Re: Self care by growing a garden

@Former-Member, haven't had hyssop in the garden for year, but yes, the bees do love it. It's kind of pretty with its blue flowers, a bit like a humble cousin of the salvias.

Re: Self care by growing a garden

I am afraid it is a bit more slash and spray in our garden today.  *sighs

I am so looking forward to when we can get started on planting in ground.
