@Former-Member you’re very kind. It’s one of the ways I amuse myself when I can’t sleep.
Then I forget about the screenshots, until I start going through my photos LOL

Hi @Glisten @Former-Member @Shaz51 @ENKELI @Oaktree This word is a beauty.
I was told of it, a few decades ago....
Antidisestablishmentarianism is a position that advocates that a state church (the "established church") should continue to receive government patronage, rather than be disestablished (i.e., be separated from the state).

@Adge @Faith-and-Hope @Glisten @Former-Member @tyme
I have always enjoyed the word
onamatopoeia.
It means that a word has been formed from the sound it has, for example sizzle

haha..indeed! I have found the most helpful things in my photos that I’ve taken to remind me - and totally forgot they’re there! 🤭
side note: I found this web site that is AI generating quotes…some are really funny… 😁
and all my fellow forum-ites ☺️🌺
edit: and I forgot to put my word here..!
its Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis
I still cannot say it, however it refers to a long term inflammatory lung disorder related to silica dust inhalation
I could never say it when I was teaching! ☺️

Indeed @Glisten ☺️
yes, it’s sadly a very avoidable condition… what made me think of it is the recent rise in silica dust related conditions in the construction industry, around manufactured stone benchtops, where evidently construction workers have been exposed while using power tools to cut and polish the manufactured stone that is produced using silica (amongst other industries and means of exposure, discussed here )
in recent times.
With kindness, I hope this isn’t a topic of sensitivity for you 🫂💜🌺🙂

@Former-Member WA Government joined the rest of the country in banning the use of engineered stone in workplaces due to the risk to workers of silicosis. The ban will take effect from July 1, 2024 in Western Australia.
