Tell me about your cat @Dimity 🙂 I never knew you had a cat.
Do you find your cat helpful to ease some of your anxiety?
I read a recent research paper which mentioned the value of cats for war veterans. It was pretty amazing.
Have you been able to get out and about at all?
I'm thinking of you and recognise that things are very stressful right now, especially with the eye doc appointment coming up soon.

@tyme "Tiger" (a pseudonym ) keeps me going. He's quite old, and needs regular vet care. He gets anxious too. He's a talker and it can be challenging to work out what he's needing. He lost a leg after a car accident before he came to me. All of my cats came to me from other people for one reason or another. Tiger's former owner left him with me when she moved from the neighbourhood.
How is Ruby Rose?

Awwww @Dimity . You have saved their lives and given them a chance. That's amazing @Dimity .
Ruby? I'm getting to really love her. She's starting to settle down now and is more obedient - phew!
She's about 8 months now.
I've been taking her to the dog park and I really love taking her. It's been great to get me out too. Ruby needs to meet other dogs because I think she thinks she's human. At the dog park, she runs to all the people, and runs away from other dogs.

Ruby must love the attention @tyme . I think my sister's dog started socialising with other dogs at puppy school and obedience classes. Now he loves his trips to the dog park.
Tiger gets stressed by dogs at the vet sometimes. He has to go regularly for arthritis injections.

She sure LOVES the attention! @Dimity
Poor Tiger. It must be costly to have all those arthritis injections. Do you have pet insurance?
I'd never thought I'd love cats, but I'm also getting fond of cats now. Let's wait and see,
But to be honest, I think that by choice, I wouldn't have any pet.
I'm also glad I don't have my own children. I reckon they would hem me in too much. At least now, I can hand back my nieces and nephews lol

Hi @Dimity , hope you're enjoying the sun today. And that you're not too anxious about your eye appt tomorrow.
I got given an unused raised garden planter, so I built it and bought some spinach seedlings in the hope of getting some nutrition.
Thinking of you and sending care...

No no pet insurance @tyme . And he's too old to start.
I'm such a defective human being having kids never seemed a possibility. And I knew at 5 I'd never want a family as dysfunctional as mine.

That's wonderful about your spinach @NatureLover . I've been meaning to get a cherry tomato.
I had the op today for my secondary cataract and can see much better now. I haven't tried reading print yet but am hopeful.
