Re: Self care by growing a garden

@Smc

I dream my garden would be worthy of a garden club visit too 😀. I love being able to divvy up plants and be able to share from it too.

Re: Self care by growing a garden

Hi @Former-Member ,

Not too bad thanks. Unfortunately I overwatered a cucumber plant, so am back to sqare one with some seeds now. My spinach and asparagus are going great guns though.

Re: Self care by growing a garden

Been a quiet week in the garden. Quite a few more of our veg seeds have germinated.

Some previously heavily pruned plants have flowered confirming they are spirea.

Re: Self care by growing a garden

Hello @Former-Member , @Sheila , @Smc , @Appleblossom , @eudemonism

have been getiing the plants through woolies for mum and me

BUT mr shaz did not get me anymore new ones today Smiley Sad

Re: Self care by growing a garden

Oh well @Shaz51

Can you divide and propagate from what you already own?  I have not bought any plants for a few years.  Setting up a range of things to take in and barter at a local market.  Apple trees and iris etc ...

Re: Self care by growing a garden

ah haaaa that is a great idea my @Appleblossom , i will do that Smiley Very Happy

Re: Self care by growing a garden

Honestly @Shaz51 I have so much green stuff on my tiny little block.  Flowers galore and my stuff keeps spreading over all the verges in the court. Have a new nature strip I am taking over .... atm ... Ah ah ... thats is my dreadful wicked witch taking over the world by storm secret .... hee hee ... Cant help it.

Re: Self care by growing a garden

I tend to get plants that are dividable, I usually start with just one plant and gradually divvy off so I end up with a mass display @Appleblossom  @Shaz51

Re: Self care by growing a garden

i think mr shaz thinks i have enough plants @Former-Member , @Appleblossom

Re: Self care by growing a garden

One never has enough plants @Shaz51 It's a shame that Mr Shaz thinks so.

Inevitably some (or many in my case) die & need replacing.

Plus it's a matter of distributing them - you can always (or mostly) fit some more in somewhere....
